I remember a client of ours—let’s call him zeee. zeee runs a high-end cloud security firm. He spent three weeks filming "trendy" dance videos for TikTok because someone told him "video is king."

The result? He got a few thousand views from teenagers, but zero enterprise leads. Why? Because the CTOs zees needs to reach aren't looking for security protocols between dance transitions; they’re on LinkedIn reading white papers.

  • Instance: We had a boutique travel agency client who struggled on Facebook. We moved their high-res destination shots to Pinterest and Instagram Reels—their inquiries tripled in two months.

3. TikTok: The Raw & Real

TikTok hates "over-produced" content. It wants personality.

  • The Vibe: Short-form, funny, and authentic.

  • Ashmita’s Tip: If you can’t be funny or fast, stick to educational "how-to" snippets.

4. X (Twitter): The Watercooler

This is where the world talks in real-time.

  • The Vibe: News, opinions, and memes.

My Strategy for You: The "Core & Echo" Method

You don’t have to be everywhere. That’s a one-way ticket to burnout. Instead, try this:

  1. Pick your "Core" platform: Where does your ideal customer spend their lunch break?

  2. Create for the Core: Make one "hero" piece of content (like a blog or a long video).

  3. Echo to the others: Take a snippet of that blog. Turn it into an Instagram graphic. Post a quote from it on X.

The Bottom Line

Your content is too valuable to be wasted on an audience that isn't looking for it. Before you hit "Post" today, ask yourself: "Is this the right room for this conversation?"
